Privacy Policy

Plain English. No dark patterns. We built Image Master Pro so your files never leave your device — here is exactly what that means, and what little data we do collect.

1. The One-Paragraph Summary

Your images are processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload them, store them, analyse them or send them to any third party. We collect a minimal amount of anonymous analytics — page views and generic device information — so we can make the site faster and more useful. We do not sell data to anyone, ever. We do not run ad-network trackers. If you contact us, we keep your message long enough to answer it and then delete it.

Zero uploads, by design. Every image tool on this website uses your own browser's Canvas API to read, edit and export your files. They are never transmitted to our servers because our servers have no endpoint to receive them.

2. Who We Are

"Image Master Pro", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the operator of this website at https://imagemasterpro.app. Our contact email for privacy matters is privacy@imagemasterpro.app.

3. What Data We Do Not Collect

  • Your images. No file you open, drag, paste or download through our tools is transmitted off your device. The tools work offline once the page is loaded.
  • Cross-site ad tracking. We do not embed third-party ad-network pixels, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or similar fingerprinting beacons.
  • Biometric or behavioural profiles. We do not record mouse movements, keystroke rhythm, scroll heatmaps or session replays.
  • Device fingerprints. We do not attempt to uniquely identify your browser using canvas fingerprinting, WebGL fingerprinting or audio fingerprinting.

4. What Data We Do Collect

4.1 Standard web server logs

Like virtually every website on the internet, our content-delivery network records standard HTTP request logs for security, abuse prevention and performance tuning. These include IP address, user agent string, requested URL, HTTP status code, referrer and timestamp. Logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

4.2 Privacy-respecting analytics

We use a cookie-less, self-hosted analytics solution to count page views, referring domains and broad device categories (desktop vs mobile). We do not collect IP addresses, unique user identifiers, or any information that could be linked back to you personally. Aggregated analytics are retained for one year and then deleted.

4.3 Data you voluntarily give us

If you use our contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or email us directly, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you or to send the newsletter you asked for, and we never share it with third parties.

5. How Your Images Are Processed

All thirty image tools run as JavaScript inside your browser. When you drop a file onto a tool, the browser's Canvas 2D API, WebGL context and WebAssembly modules read and manipulate the pixel data locally. When you click "Download", the browser assembles a Blob from that pixel data and hands it back to you as a downloadable file. No network request containing your image is ever made.

You can verify this for yourself: load any tool, then disable your network connection (airplane mode). The tool will continue to work perfectly.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

6.1 Strictly necessary cookies

We do not set any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to function.

6.2 Local storage (not cookies)

We use the browser's built-in localStorage to remember two harmless preferences on your device: your chosen theme (light/dark mode) and whether you have dismissed the cookie banner. This information never leaves your browser and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.

7. Third-Party Services We Rely On

  • Google Fonts — used to serve the Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans webfonts. Google may record the IP address of the request. See Google's privacy policy for details.
  • Our hosting / CDN provider — delivers the website files and records standard server logs as described in section 4.1.

No other third-party scripts, widgets, analytics tags or marketing pixels are loaded on our image-tool pages.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA and Friends)

Because we do not maintain user accounts and do not accept your images onto our infrastructure, there is typically no personal data about you for us to produce, correct or delete. In the narrow cases where you have sent us data — for instance via the contact form — you have the following rights at any time:

  • The right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to correction of inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
  • The right to object to processing or to restrict processing.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right not to be subject to fully automated decision-making.
  • (California) The right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information — we never sell or share, but this right is formally recognised.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@imagemasterpro.app and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Image Master Pro is a general-audience utility suitable for all ages, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through the contact form, email us and we will delete it immediately.

10. Data Retention

  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Aggregated analytics (no personal identifiers): 12 months.
  • Contact form submissions: kept only until your query is resolved, then deleted within 90 days.
  • Newsletter subscriber list: kept until you unsubscribe.

11. International Data Transfers

Our hosting provider may store standard server logs on infrastructure located outside your country of residence. Where such transfers are subject to GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

12. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS everywhere (HSTS-preloaded), strict Content Security Policy headers, Subresource Integrity for third-party assets, and least-privilege access controls for team members. Because we do not store your images, the most sensitive category of data is not at risk in any breach scenario.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or to clarify our practices. When we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where feasible, announce the change on our homepage. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
